Project 1 – Online Casino Business

A small but established online casino business required assistance in the development of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Scope of project:

The business initially required assistance in identifying suitable software suppliers.  Once this stage of the project was completed we assisted the business in the supplier selection and procurement process and offered strategic and technical guidance upon the implementation of the CRM system into their technology setup.


There are a large number of CRM providers offering everything from ‘off the shelf’ systems through to enterprise level models.  We spent some time working with the in-house marketing team in putting together a short list of CRM providers that could not only implement a CRM system but could provide ongoing technical support and advice for a number of years post implementation.

A key component of this project was to identify and define specific Key Performance Indicators for the business, ensuring that these were defined in line with industry standards.


Project 2 – Affiliate Marketing

A small but rapidly growing affiliate marketing business contacted us as they required strategic marketing advice to assist them in preparing their 3 year business plan.

Scope of project:

The affiliate launched their business in 2013, and focussed exclusively on a niche market within the online casino sector.  Their primary concern was that their business was not diversified enough, and consequently faced high levels of risk, particularly given the proposed legislative and regulatory amendments that were coming into force in nearby geographical markets.  IT Marketing was asked to provide strategic advice and guidance.


One of the biggest challenges facing any owner built and managed business is when to take external advice.  The affiliate marketing sector is an incredibly competitive area.  We have worked with a broad range of affiliate marketers that operate in the gambling space, and whilst personalities and nationalities may differ, they all tend to share a couple of common traits.  They tend to be highly entrepreneurial and skilled across a multitude of disciplines.  It’s this broad range of skills and expertise that makes it difficult for many affiliates to recognise when they truly need to step back from the day to day operational aspects of their business and to seek external advice.  Happily this affiliate client had recognised that this action was what was required to take his business to the next stage in its evolution.

Over a 3 month period, the IT Marketing team worked closely with the affiliate business and assisted them in identifying new geographical markets.  A key process in the decision making process was to understand what niches within the gambling sector the affiliate was particularly interested in.   We then looked at these markets, and researched them thoroughly from a competitive, financial and regulatory standpoint.  At the outcome of the project a 3 year marketing plan was put in place, and the client now had both a strategic direction for their future growth as well as a more diversified business model.

Whilst this project is still in it’s early days, there is a considerable amount of interest in the LATM online casino sector at present, and we envisage that the work we have don in this market with the Casinoseniors.com site will come to fruition in the next 12 to 18 months.  It has certainly been challenging launching a new site into the Brazilian market, as there are a large number of complexities and challenges that are new to us.  However, we expect the online casino and gambling markets in Brazil to mature in the coming years, and in Casinoseniors.com we have a site that looks well placed to capitalise on this opportunity.
